The 15%

The 15% is a collaborative project by Brooke Belair and Emily Zavacki. According to the World Health Organization, roughly 15% people of the world’s population have a significant physical or mental disability. Photographers Brooke Belair and Emily Zavacki are part of this community of people. Through photographs and text, they hope to open the eyes of others to the challenges and triumphs of negotiating everyday life with a disability as a student, staff or faculty member.
